Guest Reviews & Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor, just across from the village green. The rooms offer a spacious layout with a kitchen and living area; however, the absence of a closet and limited bathroom vanity space can be slightly inconvenient. The service exceeded expectations with staff going the extra mile to ensure a memorable stay, including a thoughtful gesture for our anniversary. The prime location allows easy access to exploring both the vibrant town and the stunning Acadia National Park. The dining experience, while lacking in quality breakfast options, didn't overshadow the overall positive aspects of the hotel.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were not only clean and comfy but also had a rich history behind them. The location was superb, allowing me to easily explore the town on foot, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. However, the dining options could be better, especially with the cold muffins. Overall, a great value for money experience.
Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight. The rooms were cozy and had a wonderful view of Dor Mountain. While there was no table for my computer, the space was more than ample for a comfortable stay. The service was exceptional, with the staff offering great recommendations for activities in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and even going above and beyond by clearing snow from my car. The location was perfect, just a short walk to shops, food, and the waterfront, making for a fantastic stay. As for dining, the morning spread with muffins, danishes, and more was satisfying, although not up to my 'boutique hotel' expectations. The facilities were top-notch, including a lovely hot tub setting and equipment available for outdoor adventures.
